First Floor Renovation - Upton MA

This was a huge renovation of the first floor of an 1980's colonial.  The owners wanted to get an updated kitchen and first floor, but leave the colonial look and feel.  Complete renovation of the kitchen and pantry, reflooring kitchen to match the existing wood, moving an entry way so that it aligned with the kitchen window.  Repair of the fireplace so it could handle a gas insert.  We encountered black mold in the walls so we had to replace them.  And we found that some of the window sills were rotted, so we replaced them as well.  Chair rail with picture frame was installed in the dining room and office.  Fresh paint through-out out the first floor.  As an added bonus, renovated the 2nd floor laundry room, installing tile on the floor and a hanging area for clothes..
